Modelling the railways of Donegal
Track
Choice of scale:
3 mm on 9mm N gauge track;
4 mm on 12 mm gauge track;
5.5 mm on 16.5mm gauge track;
7 mm on 16.5 or 21 mm gauge track;
10 mm on 32 mm O gauge track.
16 mm on 45 mm 1 gauge track.

Donegal - 5.5 mm scale (George Hannan), on permanent display at the Donegal Railway Heritage Centre.
Inver - 7 mm scale (John Seward ), currently on the exhibition
circuit.
Castefinn - 4 mm scale (Andy Cundick), currently on the exhibition
circuit.
Letterkenny - 4 mm scale (Andy Cundick), under the development.
CDR station being constructed, the L&LSR to follow at a later date.

Fintown & Glenties Railway ("The Black Pig")
An operating 3 ft. gauge passenger-carrying railway established on the trackbed of the CDR Glenties branch at Fintown station in the Donegal Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region). The rolling stock is not of CDR origin but was acquired from the former Shanes Castle Railway in Co. Antrim and consists of three Belgian tramcars hauled by a small diesel locomotive.
