Fintown & Glenties Railway ("The Black Pig") An operating 3 ft. gauge passenger-carrying railway established on the trackbed of the CDR Glenties branch at Fintown station in the Donegal Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region). The rolling stock is not of CDR origin but was acquired from the former Shanes Castle Railway in Co. Antrim and consists of three Belgian tramcars hauled by a small diesel locomotive. |
